Prerequisite: Prior completion of the Essential Scheduling: Administration Certification is required.
This July, invest in your professional development with the Ad Astra Summer Certification Series—a collection of live, instructor-led training programs designed to help you deepen your product knowledge and gain practical skills you can immediately apply at your institution.
Led by Ad Astra's implementation consultants, each certification combines hands-on instruction, real-world best practices, and interactive learning in a dedicated training environment. Upon successful completion, you'll earn an official Ad Astra Certification recognizing your expertise.
All sessions are on Tuesday afternoons, 2:30 - 3:30 pm Central.
1. Choose Your Certification Track
Ad Astra clients may choose ONE certification track for this summer series. Seats are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Created for Events users, this certification deepens expertise in advanced platform functionality—equipping participants to support more efficient, scalable, and strategic events operations.
Attendees will gain applied experience with complex workflows, strengthen their approach to real-world scheduling scenarios, and explore peer-informed strategies institutions use to maximize the value of the Events software. |

Designed for academic administrators, this certification builds practical expertise in strategically and efficiently assigning rooms at scale. Participants will gain applied experience setting optimization parameters, running the optimizer, and interpreting results within Ad Astra.
Through guided exercises and best practices, attendees will develop room optimization strategies that improve space utilization and strengthen institutional scheduling outcomes. |
2. Attend all Four Session Dates
To earn your certification, you must attend all four one-hour sessions, weekly on Tuesdays from July 14 - August 4. There is also an optional orientation session on July 7. Specific session times are posted on the individual sign up pages, emails and Zoom invites.
3. Complete your Certification Assessments
After each session, you'll receive a short assessment via Zoom. Complete all four to earn your certification at the end of the series!

Do I need to attend every session?
Yes. Each certification is designed as a four-part learning series, with each session building on the previous one. To earn your certification, you must attend all four live sessions.
Is there an additional cost to participate?
No. This certification program is offered at no additional cost as part of your training benefits.
Can I register for more than one certification?
To provide as many clients as possible the opportunity to participate, each attendee may register for one certification track during the 2026 Summer Certification Series. Choose the program that best aligns with your role and learning goals.
Is there an orientation before the series begins?
Yes. An optional orientation session will be held prior to the first week of training to help you access the training environment, review expectations, and prepare for the certification series.
