Vicky Bond is the Director of Scheduling & Conference Services at The University of Texas at Tyler. She began her career there in 2007 scheduling both events and academics. In 2015 she accepted the position of Director of UT Tyler’s new event management office where she strives to provide a creative, efficient one-stop shop for event scheduling.
Vicky has developed event request forms, webpage video tutorials, and event scheduling guidelines to help campus and community users better understand event scheduling procedures. She does annual campus-wide training as well as one-on-one and departmental trainings.
For UT Tyler’s service departments, she has developed resources, created reports, and set up notifications via workflow that equip these departments with all event information, resulting in more seamless events. In addition, report subscriptions are a vital part to successful events at UT Tyler.
Vicky works with the President’s office and departments throughout the campus community to help facilitate successful events through coordination of facility reservations, logistics, support services, and quality customer service.
