Bob is a twenty-five year employee of the Connecticut State University System. For the past 17 years he has served as the Academic Scheduling Officer at Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU). He is responsible for all aspects of academic course scheduling and academic space allocation. Bob is the the Ad Astra administrator for his campus and responsible for implementing, training, and reporting.
He recently completed installation of Version VII, which was preceded by a Strategic Check-up in Fall 2013. He is looking forward to implementing Platinum Analytics as the university is taking a more strategic approach to course scheduling in conjunction with the university’s student success initiative….culture changes abound!
Bob’s roots are in student affairs. He was a Residence Hall Director at SCSU and Assistant Director of Residence Life at Western Connecticut State University (WCSU) before rejoining his alma-mater as Assistant Registrar in 1997. Bob earned a B.S. in Communication and M.S. in Counseling from Southern Connecticut State University. Bob has taught in the Communication Department for three years and is currently developing a course in the “history of heavy metal music” for the music department.
