Scheduling Applications Coordinator

Currently serving as Scheduling Applications Coordinator for Academic Affairs, Jessica has been at WKU for almost 10 years. Her duties include the following: to oversee the Ad Astra Information System across campus, schedule approximately 4,100 sections per term, train employees across campus for the scheduling of academic events, locate and allocate space as required for academic and administrative use, design and prepare reports and analysis to the Provost as requested, and validate room assignments to ensure most efficient utilization. In addition, Jessica serves as the Provost’s liaison to Facilities Management to ensure the institutional space inventory is current, technical support for all Astra system users, and approval authority for space classification changes involving academic space. She is a member of the Campus Master Plan group, which coordinates efforts to plan space for the next generation. In Spring 2011, Jessica participated in a case study with Ad Astra regarding summer savings on energy cost, and is looking forward to serving on the Client Advisory Board to share ideas for future direction.
