Mary Kay Weis: District Registrar; Cuyahoga Community College

Mary Kay Weis has been at Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, Ohio since 2000, initially as Director of Administrative Services in the Workforce Development Division, and for the past two years as the college’s first Registrar and Manager of the Enrollment Management Center. Both positions required the start-up of new departments in the college. Prior to that Mary Kay held the position of Program Manager at the Boca Raton campus of Palm Beach Community College. She earned her BS degree from Bowling Green University of Ohio in Speech and Language Pathology and was awarded her M. Ed from Florida Atlantic University in Leadership in Adult Learning. Mary Kay was instrumental in bringing Ad Astra to Tri-C over five years ago when it was used only to schedule the on-site Workforce Division of the college. In her position as Registrar, the Astra memories have come back as the product is now being used throughout the college’s six sites.
