Debby Hill: Associate Registrar; University of Southern Mississippi

Debby Hill has worked in higher education at The University of Southern Miss for 19+ years - first as an academic advisor, then as a system analyst for advising and student records, and now the Associate Registrar since 2005. Also during this time she has taught as an adjunct instructor for Department of Technology Education and for University Studies courses. As the Associate Registrar, one area she is responsible for is the Oracle Campus Solutions module for student records which involves class scheduling and curriculum planning. Southern Miss implemented Astra Schedule 6.0 in Fall 2004 with room and event scheduling. She has served on the Client Advisory Board since 2006 in addition to serving on Oracle’s HEUG Product Advisory Group for Academic Advising and now with Student Records.
